We moved to the Triangle area recently I first contacted a local Chevrolet dealer to make an appointment for a complete transmission service on my 2010 Chevy HHR. After having a line go dead, being hung up on, and then having a Chevy service writer tell me the HHR doesn't have a transmission fluid filter (it does!) and being quoted an exorbitant price, I did some research. Based on feedback, I called Carmedix. The receptionist Gen was super friendly and efficient and made my appointment - after giving me a price estimate a little over half what the Chevy dealer quoted. I arrived on time for my appointment, turned over the keys, and saw my car being taken immediately into the shop area. I was offered free coffee or soda and snacks, plus plenty of magazines. A little later, I was called to pick up my car. All of the work had been done, and - amazingly - I've found a shop that actually honors its repair estimates. Carmedix will be my go-to repair shop

Jay, David, and the whole team at Carmedix are amazing. I am extremely picky as to who I let work on my truck, in fact, before I found them, I would drive to my long time mechanic on the other in Southeast Raleigh about an hour away from where I live, for service if I could (even had the tow there a few times). It was a wonderful relief to find a mechanic close to me who is this trustworthy.

They have never once tried to sell me something that I did not need, and offer extremely reasonable rates for the work that they do. TEN STARS for CarMedix!!! Love these guys and will be going to them for a long time to come!

Shopped around and these guys had the best prices. Very professional. Talked to Aaron and he took time and explained what they were doing to my vehicle

Front/rear brakes and front rotors replaced 10/16. Recent vibration in brake pedal. Wife brought in for oil change asked to have brakes checked. Told we needed new rear rotors and pads and servicing of front calipers after only 3.5 mo. Also charged her $38 diagnostic fee! Independent shop diagnosed defective front rotors no problem with rears referred me back to carmedics for warranty replacement ( no charge by the way). Carmedics unwilling to reconsider their recommendation or refund diagnostic fee. Would steer clear of this place.

I have had wonderful experiences at Carmedix. The owner and staff are honest and have great customer service. The work comes with a 24,000 mile warranty and the prices, they are fantastic! I highly recommend this shop!
