Great work and a fair price. I took my 2006 Toyota Camry in with a noisy brake. Tad diagnosed the problem and repaired it perfectly. I highly recommend Tad to anyone. I won't take my car any where else!

TAD, has performed major engine work on my 05 TT twice, both times he explained the entire process and performed the work in a timely manner and the TT runs great. Just commenting on the review that stated this business was in a "bad neighborhood" I would not consider being locted around the corner from half million dollar homes a 'bad neighborhood"........... I'm just saying........Really?

I highly recommend this young man. He is honest, respectful and works hard to keep his prices at a minunium. I work for Prince William County School as an Attendance Officer, my car is mandatory in order to perform my duties. Tad worked on my car from early morning until ten at night in order to deliver the car to my residence. He is awesome and always willing to please. GIVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE YOU!!!!!

This place was great. Their prices were good and they were very quick with getting me back in my vehicle. I had the fuel pump changed and off course my car died with a full tank of gas. Last time this happened, I got my car back with a half a tank of gas... CNT automotive made sure I got back a FULL tank of gas when they were finished. Nothing but professional and I am nothing but pleased. These are very honest and hard working people. If you don't want to get ripped off and want to support your local small business, check out CNT automotive. I'll be honest, their shop is not much to look at, but there work is well worth it!!!





January 9th, 2011. I just took my Oldsmobile Alero to CNT again for a Transmission flush, gasket change, and filter change. AAMCO, Jiffy Lube, and Firestone wanted at least $250. CNT did the work for $169!! These guys are honest hard working people. I only trust them with my car care here in the DC Metro area.

A friend recommended Tad to me when I found out my car needed a cat converter. He was very professional and had me back on the road in no time. The cost didn't break the bank either, which was better than what the shops in my area were telling me. I don't live in the area but it was well worth the drive. If I need anything else done to my Honda, I will definitely bring it back to Tad.

I don't usually look up mechanics for maintenance services out of my area, because I really thought they were all the same, milk the customer for as much as possible and keep them coming back for business as usual. But, I met a man who changed my mind, a man who really takes pride in what he does, to no avail, other than to get the job done with integrity and the quality of service you can depend on. Mr. (Tad) Emmette Lewis Greene works endlessly to ensure the job is done when expect and with no extreme cost incurred surprises. He is honest about what he does and will guarantee you'll get the best quality of service he can provide. What more can you ask from a trained automotive specialist? Great rapport, quality service, affordable prices, in a timely manner. I was only provided this service once, but if I'm ever in the area again or he happens to relocate, I will surely look (Tad) up again. Thanks for the superb auto detailing as well, love it. TAD is the BEST! I've been blessed to find such a great mechanic. Obviously, he takes pride in his reputation and work. My vehicle had a problem. I took it to the dealership and they were about to rip me off! My friend suggested that I shop around for a local, trustworthy mechanic. I didn't think any trustworth mechanic existed. Until I met Tad. *Heaven Sent* He not only took the time to explain my vehicle's issue, but he made sure I understood my vehicle's performance, as well as what was going on under the hood. This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship with one of the best treasures in Dumfries...a great mechanic. Tad's my vehicle doctor from today forward!!!!! Honest men for an honest price. The building doesn't look like much, and is in a bad area.. but it is hard to find an honest mechanic.. and these are the guys. Friendly.. print out the numbers of where your money is going.

I am a believer: The expertise and trust in a mechanic valuable, you can expect both from CNT Automotive. The owner who is also the operator takes great pride in his company and its reputation; therefore, you can expect quality work. He was also able to work with me based upon my personal timelines - he was willing to work beyond normal shop hours in order to get me on the highway and running right. He was able to assess my issue and provide the correct mechanical solution. You have to stop-in because he always have promotions going that is not always advertised unless you make regular visit as a customer but they are open to everyone. No doubt he is very close to a five star rated business in my oppinion but no shop is perfect so I can only rate a 4.8 out of 5. CNT provided customer service that was second to none; therefore, they come with my enthusiastic recommendation. provided customer service that was second to none.
