The first mattress and box spring we purchased after we were married was a Happy Sleeper from their factory-store which then was located in what is now the Dewitt-Seitz Building. I wanted to buy from a Duluth business. Since then, we never bought anything else. Between our cabin and home, we must have purchased at least twelve more sets and were exceptionally happy with each and every one.



Incidentally, that first set lasted over 30 years.I wish more businesses offered this kind of value.

The other 5 star reviews on here are obviously fake, written by the company or its employees. This store is without a doubt the worst company I've EVER dealt with. The customer service here is atrocious, because all they want is more quick sales and they will sell you whatever they can without taking time to consider what you NEED. I bought a matress from them, a firm matress mind you, and within 2 months the matress was a lumpy, soft, mishapen piece of crap. Im 250 lbs, and I work out so I consider myself in excellent health. But I have never had so much lower back pain in my life then when I started sleeping on this piece of trash. Their beds only last a fraction of the warrenty. Whats worse is you CANT return it for your money back. You also cant return the bed order after 14 days without losing 25% of your cash on the investment.



After my 1st bed from them went to hell, I called and got it swapped out, the service person who did it said the matress had no resistence left. It was "unusually unsupportive" in his words. Guess what happened? The SAME THING within 2 months. I went into the store and found out their stupid refund policy, thereby locking me in with in store credit. I used the credit to pick out a different matress, which I am still waiting on...3 weeks later.... They have free delivery, yet they dont deliver. They called me yesterday and said hey we will be up there tomorrow. I called them today and they say OH WE CANT BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR AREA DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH US SO ITS NOT COST EFFECTIVE TO DRIVE OUT TO YOUR PLACE....So what?!?! I took time off to be at home for you douchebags, now you're not coming ???? Are you kidding me. I hope this company gets paid a visit after I make some calls to the BBB.
