I have two daughters who have attended Dover Montessori Country Day and I couldn't be happier! My daughter who started at the age of 4 was sounding out words and reading within a couple of months of starting at Montessori. She was able to read before she ever went to kindergarten and excelled there due to the great foundation she had received in preschool. My youngest was not quite three when she began at Montessori, and now excels at both math and reading. If I turn either girl loose on the computer, they are able to navigate the web like a pro, and using a mouse and keyboarding are almost second nature. I couldn't be happier with their school and highly recommend Dover Montessori Country Day to anyone who wants their child to excel.

I commend and highly recommend the Dover Montessori for its well-rounded approach to basic education. It's academic cirriculum and social interactions could very well be a model for Delaware's public school system. My two children never cease to amaze me as they come home and show me what they have learned all day long. Lastly I give credit to all the staff for its patience and commitment to our children.

My older son attended Dover Montessori last year and really enjoyed the school. The experience really prepared him well for Kindergarten and he still talks about his teacher and friends at Dover Montessori. My younger son attends the school this year and really likes it; he is doing great and learning a lot. The staff is caring and very involved with the kids they just need a new, larger facility.

Our sons have been at Dover Montessori for 2 years. They love going to school and enjoy learning in this safe and friendly environment. My 4 year old loves his homework: writing and sounding out letters and words.

This will be the second year that we have enrolled our son in Dover Montessori Country Day Academy. He started out this year not interested in writing in any way and within a month of school starting he had learned to write his name. This is just one example of the many things he has learned from attending Dover Montesssori, he comes home from school and we stand theres staring at him with amazement when we see first hand what he has and is learning. The Montessori method of teaching makes learning easy and fun for the children and we believe that enrolling him has been the best thing we could have done for his eductation. I love Dover Montessori and what is even better than that is that my son loves it too.
