I purchased a $12000 Artic Cat Wildcat Trail XT from Turf and Timber. The right rear axle broke on it and it rolled over while playing on it recently. I took it up to Turf and Timber to be evaluated and see if the axle was a warranty issue. They had it for a week and I had to inquire about it multiple times before I was given a quote of over $5000 and was told it was not covered under warranty. After additional inquiries about the warranty, I found out that they never attempted to even contact Artic Cat and explain the situation. Artic Cat did come back and advise that it was not an issue that they would cover even though I still felt this was wrong and the employee at Turf and Timber had to explained how and where the axle break occured. The same day, I told the employee to order parts they didn't have in stock and I would be fixing the axle myself. I asked him to get a invoice and price and call me back. 3 days later, after no call back. I called and asked about the pricing and what was needed. I was told he didn't know if it was done up yet so he put me on hold. He luckily came back with the list and price. I was advised the knuckle and upper and lower A arms were bent and needed to be replaced too and was given a quote of just over $1000. He told me that about $800 was parts, I had to pay a $150 shipping and handling fee (which I feel they just charged me cause they could) and charged me about $170 for labor after having my ATV for almost 2 weeks. I got all but 1 part the next day they did not have in stock yet. (By the way, they're website has an inventory list of all parts and according to it they had all the parts) I got home and we got to work on fixing the ATV. We found as we were taking parts off, the upper and lower A arms we found were not damaged in any noticeable way and we felt that we were sold parts that were did not need to be replaced. I had advised the employee before I bought the parts that I only wanted to buy what would get it running again, which turned out only be the axle. I immediately called Turf and Timber and spoke with the lady that wrote up my invoice. I asked about returning the parts. She told me that they did not accept returns. I told her I was not advised of that when I bought the parts. She said it was on the invoice I was given. I told her the invoice was given to me after I paid so there was no way I knew before hand. She insisted that there was no returns and that I was sold parts I needed. I requested to speak with a manager and was told he was not there. I requested a call back. She said ok. It is now 6 days later and I have not received a call back or a call in regards to the part that was suppose to come in a week ago. This is the worst buying experience I have ever had.
