I want to start by saying I have used Flowers Hospital for about 25 years but was very very disappointed with my husbands care in the emergency room. We waited in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours with my husband in severe pain. They were not that busy and we were told our wait would be 5 minutes to see triage nurse. It took an hour. Then we were told 20 minutes for physican, it took hour and a half. We watched the waiting room empty out completely twice with us still sitting there. He had a blockage and had not urinated in 6 hours and couldn't. Imagine not being able to go to the bathroom that long. When we finally saw the physician and nurse we were treated well however when they catherized him he immediately put out 1100cc. His bladder could have literally burst. There is no excuse for this!

I had to be admitted for high blood pressure due to my pregnancy with twins and the night shift was absolutely horrible talking about personal information loud enough to where people in the hallway can hear. Never really friendly, no compassion for woman in that situation who never experienced it. I feel like they could have more training into dealing with high risk woman.

My mother is in ccu on life support. Weekend crew on 11/27/16 was very compassion and understanding in allowing my husband to see his mother. On Nov 30 at 7:30 we was approached by a very rude and inconsiderate RN as we tried to enter the ccu unit in the south tower. My husband was told they was in the middle of a shift change and to come back at 10 because that's when visiting time began. There was nothing compassionate in her tone of voice. When dealing with people whose loved ones are laying on death bed struggling for their life one would think they would be treated much better sine time may be running out. They say friendly staff but there was nothing friendly about this RN which make me wounder how my mother is being treated under her care.
