This scam of a company is not worth your time. The owner is a lair and has shady business practices. I was quoted one price over the phone and was told to fill out the contract online. After 3 days and multiple calls with no response I was finally able to get ahold of the owner. I just wanted confirmation if I had the bus or not. He then said the price went up $150 and I already signed his contract. I said that's BS and wanted to cancel. He then said fine, in the contract you signed it says he can charge half of whatever price he wants. BS right?! This owner is an absolute POS. Theres tons of respectable companies out there, this is definitely not one of them.

I should have read these reviews before getting in touch with them.



The company never gave me any confirmation and never answered my calls/emails until... Until I told them I assumed that the deal was off. At that moment I get an e-mail from the owner who tells me I am legally linked to that contract and that cancelling my booking would result in a loss of 700$.



Mr Crock (the owner) then suddenly starts answering my calls and tells me I have a bus. Only it is not his (he forwarded my to one of his colleague) and the renting time is not the same anymore.



Their unprofessionalism is unbelievable. The only reason why I am not engaging legal action against this company is because I am leaving the country soon.

They lie the driver said we gave him a 90 tip at the beginning of the night.yeah right...then didn't come pick us on time.

This party bus was awesome! My guests and I had a great time! I bought this bus for my boyfriends 30th birthday party, such a great time will never forget! Yah the bus may have been bumpy at times but its a bus, what do you expect and riding around in Des Moine Iowa! The streets in any city are terrible! Our driver/owner Kevin was an awesome guy, cool and and easy to get along with. This was the first party bus I have been on and would come back again, the bus was on time and pleanty big for my party. I first called ahead of time and made my reservation on the phone and via desmoinespartybuses.com. Any time I called Kevin with any questions or concerns he always answered, I even got a follow up call from someone with the company a week prior confirming everything was still as scheduled. With that being said this is a drunk (PARTY) bus, what is everyone expecting a 5 star shuttle? Call a limo service then :-D

Wow for a business owner you sure are not very professional!!!

This was the WORST experience on a bus in my life. We rented the bus to support my cousin in a sporting event. Fist off the bus that roll up was not what we were expectation and was NOT worth the $1500 we paid for it. Up pulls a bus from probably 1968, oil leaking so it spelled like it was going to blow up. The bus was gross and uncomfortable. We were told it held 40 people comfortably... this was UNTRUE because the 25 of us were packed in like sardines and some had to stand or sit on coolers. We were to be going to a town 2 hours away, which in a bus we expected it to take 2.5 giving the fact that a bus doesn’t go as fast as we would drive. It took 4 hours to get to our destination, which we were LATE to. The driver apparently did not know how to drive the dang thing very well because we are bruised up from flying forward and backwards when he would stop, take off and shift. He did not know where he was going. We had to stop and pick up his girlfriend which was actually out of the way which made the trip longer instead of going the straight shot way. We got lost and ended up on a gravel road. On the way back the 2 hour trip ended up being 5 hours. He was allowing people to smoke weed on the trip. Totally uncalled for and ILLEGAL!!!!!!! He was texting/face booking the entire trip. The driver was unprofessional. This was supposed to be a fun night that turned into a disaster. There were 7 people who found other rides home because they refused to get back on the bus. Unfortunately there were not enough vehicles up there to take us all back because we had a bus full to back yourself up. So if you are looking to have a good night and not have it spoiled, don’t waste your time or money and DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!. The only reason this has 1 star from me is because it MADE me choose one, but personally it would not get any!

This was absolutely the least professional company I have ever dealt with. We booked a night for a bachelor party three weeks in advance, put down a $100 deposit, and confirmed the reservation the day before the party. We were supposed to be picked up at 8:00, by 8:15 we were beginning to wonder where the bus was. We called up the owner/manager Kevin, he said that he didnt have any buses in our area right now. He then proceeded to tell us that he didn't have us booked for the night. When we reminded him that we just had a conversation with him the night before, confirming the reservation. He replied that he remembered that, but something must have gotten mixed up on the website. We then told him that we didnt feel he was very organized. We wanted to know how soon he could get a bus to us, and how he would remedy the situation. He instantly replied with a childish "FU** YOU," and then hung up. He then refused to answer his phone we when repeatedly called back. We ended up having forty people stranded with no bus, and were forced to change plans for the remainder of the night. My advice to anyone considering Des Moines Party Buses is to save your time and your party by choosing someone else! And make sure to tell everyone that you know is looking for a party bus to stay as far away from these guys as they can!
