Swift Transportation began operations in 1966, transporting imported steel from the ports of Los Angeles to Arizona and Arizona cotton for export back to Southern California. Since 1988, the company has acquired 11 motor carrier operations, giving it access to more than 16,000 trucks, which makes Swift Transportation the largest truckload fleet in the United States. With a combination of regional and transcontinental operations, the principal commodities it deals with include retail and discount department store merchandise, manufactured goods, paper products, food products, beverages and beverage containers and building materials. In addition to its headquarters in Phoenix, Swift maintains more than 30 terminal facilities throughout the United States, including one in Denver.

I was having my truck worked through the night so i went to dispatch to ask to get a room and the lady there was so rude and refused to give me a room. So i ended up sleeping in the drivers lounge and leaving the next day with the worse sore back. I should have known how bad the place was when i drove in and how unorganized the parking lot was. In the future i would avoid this place. We drivers work too hard to be treated like second class citizens.
