Shannon gave me a call and we had arranged to have a Superior Master 40 moved, which is an 1100lb safe with retail price of $3499.00. I was quoted a price of $335 for the move. The move was originally scheduled for the 9th of September 2016. Shannon called me the morning of the 7th and said they had some cancelations. She told me to let her know what time would work so after checking my schedule I requested they be at the first house between 2:15 and 2:30pm.

I called about a half hour after the scheduled time and she said the guys were running late. I told her I took time of work to get this done and that it would have to get done today since I already left work. Shannon advised me the guys were running about an hour late which would put them to arrive at 3:30pm. I asked her if anything could be done for the inconvenience and she stated she could take $50 off the price. They did not show up until close to 5:30pm.

After scraping the driveway and chipping the porch with their trailer they started to attempt the move. They had a device to lift the safe which they also used to damage the paint on it from being careless. When I saw the damage I asked if they had insurance, Brandon whom I later found out to be the owners son stated “I think so, why?” I told him because those scratches were just caused by your guy being careless with the device and were not their prior to the move.

They stopped what they were doing and went to call someone. They did not do anything on the 7th besides damage the safe and leave it sitting on blocks. I was told I would receive a call at 8am on the 8th from the owner Scott. Didn’t receive a call so I called throughout the day until I got ahold of him. He pretty much stated that I was lying and that he wasn’t going to do anything except get me touch up paint and give me a discount. I don’t understand where he thought I would still let them move the safe after damaging it and after admitting that his guys were “pushed” beyond their limits and they should not have attempted the move.

In the end I’m left with a damaged safe and an uncompleted job.

I manage several strip malls and have used Statewide Lock Safe for the last 15 years. They show up on time, their trucks are clearly marked and they wear uniforms,so my tenants know are. The technicians know what they are doing, they have all the supplies to get the job done fast and clean up before leaving. I highly recommend this company!

Spent some time driving around town looking for a gun safe. This place has a good selection and are very knowledgeable plus they had they best price. I will recommend State-Wide Lock to my family and friends.

I've gone to Statewide several times to get all of my automobile key and lock work done. They've always been very courteous and professional and their work is always exemplary. But this last time, I was told the that the elderly gentleman I was used to dealing with was in the hospital and the other guys were scrambling to get things done. I explained I wanted to pay the full bill up front and have someone else pick it up if I wasn't available when the work was done. No problem they said and tallied up my fees and I paid. When my husband went to pick it up almost a week later than I was told to expect, a lady at their location said there was a mistake and I hadn't paid enough. He called me to find out what I'd paid for. I told him I was told I'd paid the service in full. He hands the phone to the lady and she jumps down my throat because there should have been a balance due and said I hadn't paid for everything. I tried to tell her that wasn't my fault and if my husband wanted to use his card to pay the rest that was fine. She didn't even let me finish my sentence before handing the phone back to my husband, tossing the order on the counter and saying, "Just take it." I can understand mistakes and I assume that everyone's not used to the roles they are working in while the other gentleman is out due to illness. I even understand the order being late under the circumstances. But to be treated this way when it was their mistake, in a rude, accusing tone, like I was trying to cheat them? That's not acceptable. This loyal customer is unfortunately going to find another locksmith unless the other gentleman is available next time I need one.

Needed to get a second key for my car. The dealer wanted a fortune, I found this company and it was 1/2 the price.....awsome!

I was looking for safe for my business and the guys at State-Wide Lock & Safe had a great selection of new/used safes. I had them order my safe from the manufacturer, they had in within a week, delivered and installed it. I would recommend this company to everyone, totaly hastle free

Someone tried to burglarize my safe. I called State Wide to buy a replacement safe, at the same time they delivered my new safe they told me they could repair the old one and it looks great, you can't tell where it has been repaired. This was an expensive safe and the money to fix it was well worth it.

I purchased a used vaultdoor from State Wide Lock & Safe, they installed it in a home I am building. Totaly professional company and technicians. Scott knew what he was doing and worked with my schedule. Highly recommend this company.

Scott realy knows his locks and safes, I bought a new safe and they installed it with ease in my new home. They also rekeyed my locks so they all work on the same key. Highly recommended.

I needed another car key, the dealer wanted a fortune, I've used Statewide before and sure enough it only cost me half of what the dealer was going to charge me. Chuck the shop guy took care of me...thanks

I'm opening a new business and trying to keep my expenses down. Statewide Lock & safe had many used safes which saved me a ton of money. Scott was very knowledgable and professional. If you need a safe this is the place to go!

I work for a property management company and needed some locks special ordered, these guys ovrnighted the locks and showed me a trick on getting the old locks off so I could install the new ones. Highly recommend

The owners of this company are scandalous and do cheap work. I am extremely upset and hope that nobody else will be fooled by their smiling faces. Choose another company!
