Dr. Russell works with Denver dental patients of all types from young children to the elderly, including people afraid of going to the dentist (called dental phobics) and other special populations. Dr. Russells central Denver dentist office is conveniently located just off First Avenue in Cherry Creek, with free building parking and free street parking. After 24 years in practice, Dr. Russell has discovered that many people prefer a woman dentist for a number of reasons, including gentleness, patience and caring. Dr. Russell offers these qualities as well as sincere compassion for people afraid of dentists. Understanding that many people dread going to the dentist, her principal concern is her patients comfort; and she will take all the time needed to be sure her patients are sufficiently relaxed and at ease before any clinical work takes place. Once the patients comfort is assured, Dr. Russell sees her primary role as that of an educator. Given that most people only see their dentist a couple of times a year, Dr. Russell feels that it is critical to teach her patients how to take care of their own mouths. Her dental practice motto is Prevention, prevention, prevention. If my patients come in and dont need a thing done, that means Im doing my job, says Dr. Russell.
