I was supposed to get surgery today, March 30, and received an email yesterday (a day before) that it would be postponed until my vitamin D levels progress. This is the second time since I began this process back in October 2022 that my surgery has been postponed. But also the day before, I received an automated call confirming my surgery time and date. So I was confused. I went to the Franklin office to ask questions and inquire about the miscommunication. The RN Krystal was very helpful and took the time to explain what she could but she wasn’t Dr. Jockels nurse. When I talked to Jessica Salazar it was the complete opposite. She was very aggressive and defensive when i questioned her. When I asked why wasn’t I prescribed vitamin D a month prior, she lied to my face and told me I was informed via email and she saw it in my file. I never received such an email, she was making it up. Every question I asked after she would reply “that’s a question for the Dr,” even though they were questions about the email that she personally sent me. She just shunned me off and seemed unconcerned & unbothered. I don’t understand why my vitamin D lab was scheduled the same week as the surgery and nobody can take accountability. I know a pre-op lab is mandatory but why was the first one the week of the surgery and not closer to my consultation. When I asked to schedule to see the doctor she quickly pushed me off to one of the newer RNs Felicia Evans. I don’t appreciate the unprofessionalism displayed by Jessica and will find a better healthcare provider due to her lack of effort with communication.

Dr. Howe is not only an amazing doctor, but excellent with patient care! I've had some less positive experiences in the past with doctors, but Dr. Howe took time to address every question I had before before a biopsy I had with him and made sure I felt comfortable with the decision. He also answered my emails while deciding if this was the right next step for me. He was so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease during my appointment. I am so grateful to him and his careful work. Thank you Dr. Howe!!!

met with staff in the oncology group at the Franklin Medical Center - was treated very well. Look forward to going back again.

I am very pleased ,everything went smooth ,everyone knew what to do, first time at this locations ,I have nothing to complaint, very pleased
