Price switching! I live an hour outside of Denver, and contacted Broadway Auto Parts while searching for a hood for my vehicle. I was told that they had a hood for me for $100. The guy took my phone number and then went out to the yard to check the part for color and condition. He called me back a few minutes later and said it was in perfect condition...and it was the color that I needed! I verified the $100 price with him AGAIN, and had them put it on hold for me so that I could go pick it up later the same day. I was so happy that I found what I needed...I gave away my work shift, got a babysitter for my kids, and headed out. I only got 10 minutes away from home when I got a call from a different person from Broadway Auto Parts saying that they can't sell me the hood for $100...supposedly the guy earlier had made a "mistake" and the "price was entered in the system incorrectly"...the hood is really $1000...but he can do it for $900 since they had made an error. The work shift I gave away was worth more that the $100 discount offered...$1000, or even $900, is VERY expensive for this particular part...others offer it for much, much less but I can't find a white one locally. Then he say that he can't lower the price more than 10%...hence the new $900 price as opposed to $1000...because their prices are set by "corporate" which he says is in Chicago, and he doesn't have the number. I hung up. My wife called back and yet another person tells her that everyone else that we have talked to that day has gone home already, and he says that they don't even have a corporate office, and that the owner lives locally, but refused to provide us with a way to contact him. What a bunch of liars! Price switching and just very shady business...telling complete lies about corporate price fixing, and screening calls and refusing to allow contact with anyone who admits to being in charge of this joke. Rude and dishonest, and they have already cost me a lot of $$ and I haven't even bought any of their ultra expensive parts! I have NEVER done an online review, but this is the most unprofessional "business" I have EVER dealt with in any way. Seriously, avoid this dishonest business

I purchased a "high end" used transmission from this company. I paid to have it shipped out of state to where i live to find out that the transmission had "catastrophic internal damage" as my Volvo Mechanic explained to me. Broadway Auto Parts refused to refund their garbage and have costed me exponentially more then planned. After months of trying to reach and communicate with this company, they began screening my calls and I am now out over $2000 more then intended.If you value your hard earned Dollar, stay away from this company
