Bison Oil Well Cementing Inc. was founded in 1999 by Chuck Buie, its current president and sole principal. The Buie's have a long history in the oil and gas industry. Chuck is a forth generation Buie to work in the oil and gas industry. Chuck's father Jerry worked 19 years for Halliburton. His grandfather Dick Buie worked 45 years for Halliburton and his great grandfather Hop Buie was one of the first employees for Earl P. Halliburton. Chuck's father Jerry Buie and his Uncle Ron Buie started a Fracturing Acidizing and Cement company in Pratt Kansas called Buie Company in the early 1980's. Jerry Buie, an engineer for Halliburton at the time, and Ron Buie, an engineer for Western Company of North America, left their respective companies to form Buie Company. Chuck was sixteen years old with a CDL working for his father and uncle in high school and later during college. Chuck grew up in the oilfield with these great teachers who are still actively involved in the oilfield today. Chuck has worked overseas and in the energy industry and in the United States for years. Still in his prime, Chuck is positioned to help his customers for years to come. Chuck also had the opportunity to work in Corporate America as a Global Account Executive for AT&T. The training he received with AT&T provided him with the skills to be an effective negotiator of national contracts. In addition, he is familiar and comfortable with the corporate culture of larger oil and gas companies. His independent roots and hands-on experience help him to understand what's important to smaller customers. Bison Oil Well Cementing Inc. values quality employees and has the same level of expectations for all employees, including the president. Bison's Managers, Supervisors and Equipment Operators work as a cohesive group with the primary goal of placing the customer first. Bison recognizes that the largest shortage in today's oilfield is human capital and understands its greatest resource to be its employees. Bison employees have years of quality experience in servicing customers and all share Bison's vision and enthusiasm for the future. I believe in servicing accounts from the customer out.
