The aspen pet metal crate I purchased is very poorly made my dog was able to bend the door and after a very short time broke the bars off and was able to crawl between the wires. I'm in awe that she didn't hurt herself on the broken wires. I would not recommend this crate to anyone

I purchased an aspen pet dog kennel for my 9 lb. Rat terrier. The first time we left her in it we came home to find that she had managed (we thought) to squeeze through the wires and chew a big hole through my carpet.the next time we left her in it we placed it in an area away from anything she could chew through the wires. We came home and she managed to drag herself over and chewed up more carpet and the end of the couch cusion. I began examining the kennel, and discovered that one of the wires had become detached and that was how she was getting her head through the kennel to do all the damage. I have been trying to contact aspen pet for over a week now, and their phone has been busy all week. So my advice is to not buy anything from them that you want to count on to keep your pet or home safe from damage. Because they are not even available to talk to.
