Treating their patient (customers) with respect Like many doctor offices in these times, customers get treated with arrogance and as if we don't have a say. The first day I visited 1979 Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL to see Dr Eddie Velazquez, I was treated like a child. Almost two months later I have not seen Dr Velazquez once, though I have made several appointments. I have spoken to Dr Velazquez once through a Tele- visit, which I do not trust. (Private info over third party marketing tech companies doesn't offer me any comfort). In the meantime, I had to be sent to emergency after a routine out -patient procedure. Simply due to the length of time from changing primaries through my Insurer and this office to get a referral. (My wife, who was a nurse on the cardiac floor of a prestigious hospital is instructed to use this information in the event I untimely expire). Let me pause a minute to say there was not a problem for the pediatric doctor next door to set up an appointment and arrange transportation next door. This office after several attempts to see Dr Velazqez, I have given up and Will change my primary once again. I will not put up with a company I choose to great me with indifference. It is time for us to stand up and put Medical, Dental and in rare cases optical and hearing professionals on notice. They are apart of my team by my choice not me a part of thiers. It is time these pharmaceutical guided health professionals on notice. It is ludicrous to great all patients the same. I am sorry Dr Velazquez, we never had a chance, but I can't continue on this path when the first thing out of the person that answers the phone is to cast blame. To say it is my fault, along with the nurse that checks me in, is unacceptable. I am from a "CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" error. This is not arrogance, it is simply the truth. Seniors pay attention and stop allowing these offices from walking over us. The entire industry front line staff needs to be reevaluated and let go. I will shout to the world a out how the first person I came into contact with me at AMICUS was rude, condescending and worse as she came to the door to tell me to sit and wait just to be sent back home. This proves the worse thing about vivid 19 is now it allowed organization front end staff everywhere to feel empowered to be undesirable.
