I will admit to have enjoyed the quality of the food at this Headwest. However, today my Dad called to order our family some subs for delivery. From previous discussions with the employees at Headwest I knew that they had a 3 mile delivery radius. Our house is 3 and a half miles away. I had talked to them about this in person and they had told me they could go an extra half a mile if we just offered to pay that little extra distance. I told this to my father, and when he called he offered a generous tip(to cover the extra half a mile+"inconvenience"). The employee responded to my dad "No way" and rudely hung up on him. I would understand if there was simply protocol put in place disallowing deliveries behind the 3 mile radius, and a simple explanation would have been adequate. But it's unprofessional to simply hang up on a customer who had been nothing but respectful. It's unfortunate but this incidence has convinced me to not eat at Headwest anymore. Again, this is not because of the quality of the food, but because of the rude demeanor that an employee exhibited towards my father. I had been planning on replacing my usually Jimmy Johns with Headwest since they opened, but now I will return to Jimmy Johns for my regular sub fix.



A quick addition, I believe that an absolute 3 mile delivery radius is just silly. At the very least I would recommend an additional charge to the order if the delivery is beyond 3 miles. Many more individuals, such as myself, my family, and some of my friends would order Headwest delivery often, even with a few extra dollars to the bill.
