Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

It was very disappointing... The waitress acted like she didn't care... Forgot to order one of our parties meal and then lied about where it was when it came 15 to 20 minutes after everybody started eating... It was dirty the forks had food crusted on them the knives were dirty maybe they should invest in a dishwasher!... The floors were dirty and the bathroom was pathetic! If they are going to charge those kinds of prices and pretend they're classy they may want to act the part!!

When we spoke to the manager he too acted like he couldn't give a rat's rear end!

We've eaten there 4 times recently & loved it. The service & food were perfect. Prices are great. The rooftop section is not the same restaurant. Obviously improvements have been made. I have a shellfish allergy & they accommodated me wonderfully. I look forward to returning.

Same as the other reviews. Poor service. Roof top experience sub par. Couldn't reach a manager to explain issues with service. Then manager blew off complaints. Excellent atmosphere, food ok. Total disappointment.

Horrible experience! Order crab cake sandwich which was soggy and tasteless. Friend ordered shrimp over rice. Shrimp were small, overcooked and still had the veins. This place is clearly a tourist trap.

DISAPPOINTMENT - 2 hostesses a...

DISAPPOINTMENT - 2 hostesses and a manager never acknowledged us when we walked in. Two adults and a six year old, the manager who sat us did NOT bring a kids menu, really. After we sat he asked if we would like a kids menu, I replied, "yes please". Said he would be right back with one, NEVER saw him again. Waiters and waitresses standing everywhere. No one waited on our table. Finally a competent waitress came over and asked if we had been helped. She took our drink order and went to find our waitress, unsuccessful she waited on us. The steampot was a HUGE disappointment. Perfectly described in the 1st review. LOOKS nothing like the picture. Some potatoes (semi cooked) and an ear of corn. The next day we ate at Texas Road House - DELISH - strongly recommend. GREAT food and GREAT service. SKIP Joe's!!!!!!!
