Housemaster came out in May of 2019 to inspect a home that we were potential buyers for. We drove three hours to meet him at the home. He did find some electrical issues along with some very minor issues. We also had him inspect the chimney and double sided fireplace to which he described as in “very good condition” and could use a sweep. Everything else checked out. No, the entire fireplace needed rebuilding with estimates ranging from $3500-$6000. Additionally to find upon moving in that within 24 hours our water tank stopped working and needed replaced. Then a clogged drain, doors that wouldn’t close, and outdoor light post not working. Basically we threw $325 in the toilet for this shotty inspection. Only to spend thousands more. Don’t waste your money.
