Nice, friendly service... keeps the old kenmore washer working... don't like the new models... I've used this service for all my kenmore appliance for years... I'm 80, that's a long time.

This is getting ridiculous. Top-of-the-line Sears brand refrigerator died the first week in December and it was reported to Sears Service the next day. Called Sears and they scheduled a repair for "three weeks out". Repair guy shows up ------ nice guy generally ------ but doesn't have the parts for that refrigerator in his truck, naturally. Parts are ordered and installation is set up through the Sears scheduler for "three weeks out". Installation by another service rep from the service company is fine ----- another nice guy ------ and the job is "closed" at Sears. Next day, refrigerator is still dead. Called the service department and another service visit was scheduled for "three weeks out". Service company guy shows up ----- repeat visit by the first guy ----- and he diagnoses the problem that should have been seen on his first visit, but doesn't have the parts on his truck; again, naturally. Orders the parts from Sears Service while he is on site and they set up installation on an "emergency basis" for, you got it, three weeks out. Sears closes the repair order. We're now approaching the end of January and are still living out of styrofoam coolers. Most unfortunately, we understand that had we purchased the refrigerator or a similar one from Lowe's or Home Depot or HHGregg, they all use the same service company and interface with the same scheduler. No empathy, no sense of urgency, no solution. Whatever happened to customer service?
