Branch of a long-running chain serving Tex-Mex staples in a hacienda-style setting. The creation of El Fenix began in the 1890s with the birth of Miguel (Mike) Martinez. Over time, the El Fenix menu evolved into a new innovative style, now dubbed Tex-Mex.

If you’re in dallas you MUST visit El Fénix
Those from other states you don’t know what Mexican food is unless you’ve eaten here.

We love it!

We, as a family, eat here often. It is one of our favorites. The food and service are consistantly good. The manager is always available for comments, suggestions, and conversation. The chicken enchiladas and tamales are my personal favorites.
