This AMAZING (and affordable) veterinarian shattered everything i knew about a vet; I've never seen a staff care so much for animals. My family USE to take our dogs to the same vet for well over 30 yrs. It wasn't until Soffie (my dad's 10 yr old Boston Terrier) got sick that we realized how cold they really were. After they spent only a few minutes with her, they actually recommended us to put her down. My dad refused to accept that's all that could be done and like a miracle he found A&B animal clinic. Dr. Richey evaluated Soffie, she was very thorough (something we were not used to seeing from the other vet), and said positively, she could help her! That was over 6 months ago! Soffie is running, eating & playing like a puppy again. Everyone showed they truely cared for Soffie; here Soffie wasn't just another number. We will ONLY bring our dogs here from now on. Thank you A&B Animal Clinic 💜💜💜

I brought my dog there for the very first time and the older lady was so rude to me. I also brought my kids with me and she was mean to my children. I will never go there again.

While the staff here is very kind and caring (for the most part), our cat was misdiagnosed twice. The first time was 14 years ago (before Advantage, etc.). She was about 2 years old, seriously ill and covered in fleas. We took her in 3 times in a 10-day period. Each time, she was more ill than the time before, but Dr. A insisted that she just had a respiratory infection. On the last visit, Dr. A ran bloodwork and kept her. She was critically anemic from fleas! Another day, and she may have died. 11 years later, and another "respiratory infection" misdiagnosis... no x-rays, just antibiotics. This time, it was cancer. When we finally learned that after a late-night run to the EAC, she was too far gone. We euthanized her a few days later. Her sister was euthanized with cancer (lymphoma) 1 year before, and the female vet (not Dr. B) was kind of rude when I picked up the cat's ashes. Indiscreet; unprofessional; insensitive-- I was not impressed.

I've been very happy with the care my cats and dogs have received here. Even though we moved across town, we still come back. Great with the animals and great with us.

Our cat suffered recurring bladder infections and was almost constantly suffering for over two years. The A & B Clinic was the first place we took her that was able to get rid of her infections and keep them gone! We went through at least six other doctors before coming here, they could clear up the infection but never keep it away. One our previous vets left the cat in a cage to suffer all day because they were "afraid" to try to give her the medicine until I got there. A & B is always clean and orderly, staffed with well trained, professional people who are animal lovers. Our cat is now healthy and happy and has been infection free for two years. Whenever I stop in to pick up her diet food, the staff is prompt and courteous and always ask how the cat is doing. BEST VET I HAVE BEEN TO IN DALLAS! Highly recommended.

I have read the other reviews and decided to go see for myself, seeing that this clinic is right by my house. My dog absolutely loves the girls there and the vet. I actually came in unscheduled and asked to see the boarding area. It was very clean. Needless, to say I left my dog there for 2 weeks. I came back early and was pleased to see how clean his area was. He was very happy. He loves going to see the girls up there. I was very pleased and still am. All I have to say is go check them out yourself. They are very sweet and the clinic is clean.

Good Vet but don't board your animal.

When I first moved to Dallas I was more than pleased with the service and especially the care my dog received even when being boarded. The last time I boarded my dog there (a year ago) he came home smelling of urine and had feces caked in his fur. He was a very clean, housebroken large breed dog. My dog no longer warms up to the vet and only shows excitement when he sees "Pam" a Tech there. Didn't use to be this way. I'm looking for a new Vet.

Do not leave your animals for boarding. They do not clean cages or care about small critters.

I left my Mini Rex for boarding about 3 weeks and when picked her up she had open holes and infections in all four feet. They "didn't have time to clean cage" and "just hydrate the feet". The infection went into the bone and almost took her life. After months of acute care, medication, and multiple surgeries by another vet (plus considerable expense >$1,500) my rabbit is partially crippled and will never be the same. All they had to do was clean the cage and check her daily! They should not board critters if they cannot care for them properly!
