I have been to this salon a few times and had good results. This time Alma was very late, distracted and she permed my hair so poorly it burned.

I'd been looking for a salon in the area, and hadn't had much luck. In fact I'd had pretty bad luck other places. I found everyone here to be extremely polite and competent. Venus cut and highlighted my hair much faster than some other salons (it took a full hour longer somewhere else, because that other place was not efficient/organized). She did a great job. I found the experience non-stressful. She evened out the color of my patchy highlights which were about 3 different colors from other stylists at other places not knowing how to match the color. She was efficient, detail oriented and very technical in how she worked, so you can tell she has a lot of experience. I'm glad to have a salon I can trust in the area. I've tried most other salons within a half mile of this, and I had quite bad experiences other places (stressful or rude stylists, bad technique, etc.)

I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She was wonderful. My stylist came and got me and we discussed what I wanted. She gave me some very helpful ideas and tips. She did the most beautiful color on me I've ever had! And my cut was exactly what I wanted. What an awesome salon! Very talented and the atmosphere was VERY relaxing and comfortable. They are the best. I will be a lifetime customer!

Alma was 45 minutes late, she had another stylist wash my hair or I would not have waited. She permed my hair and we agreed to 1/2 an inch cut off. Under the dryer I felt a long strand of hair in back. She "blended" and now I have 3 inches gone, a boy cut with no style and a dry, not curly perm.

I would like to share my experience at this salon. I chose this salon from the reviews I read and I was NOT disappointed. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by by the friendly receptionist until I checked out, I was treated like I was very important. First, the salon itself is very charming and clean. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't push things on you but they do suggest and let you know what you need. After mu color and cut, which turned out way better than I expected they showed me how to do it at home. I can never make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon but they gave me a lesson on how to do it. I never got that from any other salon. I did not feel obligated to buy products and I did not feel intimidated like some places made me feel. I felt more "at home" among friends than people I had never met. The whole experience was super!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO EVERYONE!!

What a find! I had the opportunity to visit this unique salon last week. I can honestly say I've never experienced a salon like this one. It has a sort of old world, southern charm with it's stone and brick walls, stone floor, fireplace and so much more. It has more of an historic bed and breakfast feel than a hair salon. When I made my appoinment, I had to wait a few days but it's worth it. When I arrived the receptionist took me back to a little area that had an outdoor cafe feel to it. It had a stone floor, stone wall, iron table and chairs and lamposts and such. I was served fresh coffee in a coffee mug, not a paper cup. The area across from that had a fireplace and dryer chairs. My color and cut were exceptional. My color looks like I was born with it! It is so rare to find a place with this much talent and friendly, warm atmosphere. All I can say is great work girls. You have a customer for life.
