My name is Angie Peters and I wanted to comment on my wonderful experience with Dr J Krishna at Cumming Family Medicine. My family and I have been with Dr. Krishna for 20+ years. Her appointments are quick and clean on normal day to day medical needs. If you go in with for an unusual concern she will assess whether a referral is needed. On one emergency, I went to her first before heading to the ER. She immediately treated my symptoms(to make me more comfortable) and was on the phone with a “specialist” colleague to obtain a same day appointment. That has happened three times over the many years. I don’t normally have a long wait to be seen but there has been the occasion. When I have a major concern the office will work me in the schedule to address concerns and be referred. The times I’ve had to wait is due to other patients with urgent needs. I’ve been in that place and appreciate the fact that I can be worked into the schedule to address concerns and be referred.

My family and I have been patients since she began practice, her and her practice is our first place when we need medical care. They have fixed anything from sewing up a nose that was badly needing stitches, febral seizures in our young son. She also was the one went went to for medical care. She and her staff are kind and caring, if we could give her five stars we would everyday

This is an excellent practice. My Dr.Krishna is came to the USA after being cited as one of the top general practitioners in the world. The staff is marvelous. They listen, prescribe sensible medication regimes and I owe everything to them. A caring, real office that really listens. Superb.
Dr.Krishna takes no prisoners in her honesty, and I want that in my Dr! Excellent. I love Karen and her staff also.

I have been seeing Dr. Krishna the past few months for weight loss treatment. She has helped me tremendously to get on the right regiment and right medications along with it. They have been working perfectly for me so far. Nothing else has worked otherwise, I've tried them all, diets, fads, everything. Yes, she tells it like it is, but that's just what I need and what everyone needs.

I absolutely LOVE Cumming Family Medicine, specifically Dr. Krishna. We moved to Cumming almost two years ago. When I was ISO of a PCP, I had been to several doctors prior that had me off-put. When I met Dr. Krishna, she immediately put me at ease. Within a month of meeting her, I had set up my yearly physical. It was then that she discovered a problem that no other doctor had realized - an enlarged thyroid gland.

Long story short - Dr. Krishna saved my life twice last year. I had a hemithyroidectomy followed by the removal of a mole (which turned out to be cancerous). Had it not been for her detailed inspections, I may not be here today to be present for my husband and children. Dr. Krishna is super sweet, family & detailed oriented, and an excellent physician.

I've not only seen Dr. Krishna at CFM, but also Dr. Dua. They are both great doctors, and I am super happy that I have found a PCP that cares about my well being (as well as that of my family's) and not just about getting patients in and out of their practice. She and the staff at CFM are amazing, and they are always great to me and my kiddos. I would highly recommend Dr. Krishna (and the other staff at CFM) to anyone.

I have always been satisfied when I leave the office. Great Doctors, Take time with my kids and I at each office visit.

Dr. K is a nice lady but she does NOT practice real Pain Management. She's NOT licensed for Chronic pain patients. She' just a small notch above your family Doctor. Do not waste time and/or money if you are truly in need of Pain relief.
