The music is usually excellent. Some of the priests are great (one of the good ones will ask the parish if they have any questions for the priest at the end of mass!). Some of them, however, are less great (I'm quite liberal, and the older Irish priest's sermons have twice infuriated me to the point that I marched out in a righteous huff).
