You should allow reviews of '0' stars. This place has been a nightmare of an experience for both my son and I. If you live in Lake or McHenry County in Illinois, please share these photos of my son's truck with wires hanging out the bottom, parts dumped in the bed of his truck, and air where the engine parts should be, and warn all your friends to never let someone named Bobby Callen work on their vehicle. Current business name is Fine Tune Performance but since he has changed shops four times since my son took this vehicle to be repaired by him in early June, that could change. On August 28, 2013, a tow truck delivered what he had done to my son's truck. Totally ruined, not fixed and just the parts. Tow truck driver kindly told me it would never run again. It was working when we took it here, and now it's worthless. Do not let them touch anything you own!!! EVER!!! Totally unprofessional, and we were given back a piece of junk for the scrap heap. This was after months of texts that he was almost done with the work and the promised delivery of a working vehicle. He would not tell my son the location of the subsequent shops (after we had to report it to the police as stolen just to see if someone still had it) so my son could go see his vehicle and retrieve it. He told my son to come home from school in Ohio because he would deliver it that evening. When we got home, he said he would deliver it within two hours. Never showed up, nor called nor answered his phone. Cost my son over $200 for the train tickets for his roommate and him so they could get back to school. Just yanking our chains, and cost us lots more money. You do not want this person touching anything you own EVER!!! Warn everyone you know to not go here and never let anyone named Robert (Bobby) Callen work on their vehicle!!! It will be your biggest nightmare ever!!! STAY AWAY AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO DO THE SAME!!!

The previous review doesnt suprise me at all. My story is similar and a bit more extreme. I dropped off my truck at the owners house a few days into june because he said it was closer to me than his shop. He said it would take a week maybe two. Today it is july 17th and i still dont have my truck. My numerous calls/texts per day are clearly ignored, and i havent heard from the owner in weeks beside the rare texts that say "il call you in five minutes" which never are fulfilled. I have spent the past 2 days and over 75$ in gas driving all over lake county trying to locate my truck. All the addresses posted anywhere for the buisness lead you nowhere, i found both previous addresses both abandonned, the "new" shop i drove around woodstock for 30 minutes and could not find it. Today i finally filled a police report (which was a nightmare of its own) and they located my truck. In the shop in pieces. No one can find the owner including his family. I am really not excited to go get my truck and see the damage for myself and im almost disgusted to give at least one star. I hope it is at least fixed correctly and properly and maybe il come back with a better review.
