5 pounds of King Crab.
3 tubs of jumbo blue crab meat.
3 jars of oysters.
$55 for "2 day" shipping to Colorado.
Normally I just go to the local grocery store
but this was for a special occasion so I splurged.
Not one single thing I ordered came frozen. Nothing!
The lids on the 3 jars of oysters were not sealed
so the juice was all over.
The 3 pints of crab meat were so full of cartilage
I wouldn't feed it to my dog - much less important guests.
King Crab had virtually no taste.
Too late to return of course.
So went to 3 local grocery stores and got what I needed.
Turned out perfect and I'll NEVER EVER shop with this
company again.
What a joke they are! What a rip off!
Don't get duped like me...
Perhaps they should stick with bait?

Very sorry to say our experience with Linton's Seafood has been unsatisfactory. Our order did not ship on the date communicated and arrived five days after shipping. Winter weather was blamed but it doesn't make sense as we're in the same area and the package, once finally shipped, arrived in our town (traveled 90% of the way) within one day then sat for the next four days. One can only assume UPS held delivery pending payment from Linton's. Our communication with Linton's was initially encouraging and a full refund or replacement shipment was offered. Unfortunately, Linton's has not followed through on their promise. The softcrabs we ordered arrived warm and spoiled and were unfit for consumption. Short of seeking remedy via PayPal it seems we may have been swindled. So much for buying local and from family businesses. Linton's does this segment of the business world, and trusting customers, a disservice.

Yuck. Crab legs were ordered a week in advance to be delivered on a Tuesday according to their confusing delivery chart but after tracking through FedEx I determined they weren't scheduled to deliver until Wed night by 8 PM. I had guests taking off work coming out of town to be there on Tues. Crabs didn't ship until late Monday night,. No courtesy call to explain problem. Found delivery status through FedEx. When I called to inform owners of problem a sarcastic man who called himself Marvin one time and Petie the next made fun of me and wouldn't work with me to expedite the shipment. Then the crabs arrived a day late and were thawed. Also, several of the crabs had barnacles on them, just disgusting looking. Had to throw out. Don't waste your money, time and blood pressure with this hole in the wall.

We have been to Linton's twice. I would never go back. Yes, the crabs were good (over priced), but the place itself was not. For eating crabs, the hammers needed hammering, for we had to keep pounding the crabs to even get them open. No bucket for crab-trash, just leave it on table, push it aside while you open and eat existing crabs. Most crab places actually have a bucket to be used, makes eating a lot more enjoyable. But the absolute worst review are the filthy bathrooms which throw off such a sewer stench, that we felt like a bath was needed after leaving. The Ladies Room had fecal matter sitting on middle of floor! Board of Health might want to check out. We have eaten at many crab establishments with better crabs, nicer views (not on a highway), and not dirty, and we drove over an hour to get there. I am sorry, but this place should be considered a definite NO SHOW!

Don't use this business! They will take your money and faii to delliver. They lie about calling people and fail to return calls. Ordered a full bushel of blue crabs a week ago, paid for overnight delivery...no crabs. Called them, they said they would call me back, no call. This is the second and last time they will burn me, the first time they sent me undersized crabs they should never have caught in the first place! Bad News!! Don't use them! Didn't want to give them the one star but I could not post if I did not.

A RATING OF NO STARS IN THIS CASE. I PUT 1 STAR BECAUSE THERE WAS NO OTPION FOR NO STARS. "It truly saddens me to say this, but I am never using you again. You charged us for a steamed bushel of crabs for NYE and you never delivered them. I have been in contact with you and your parent company Linton Seafood four different times since my original call on 12/26/2012. We placed the order back on 12/9/2012. You charged me for a full bushel on 12/10/2012. I followed up with calls to Harvey and to you (Harvey IV)... and no one has called me back as of 1/26/2013. This is absolutely unacceptable. You claim to stand behind your "100 PERCENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE". Not so in this case. I have sent dozens of my friends your way over the years. Never again. In fact, I will be copying this message and sending it to each of them via social media informing them of this incredible failure on your part. I will also post this on FACEBOOK and on your Facebook page. I will be calling VISA to stop authorization of this transaction to you. The Big Crab is a BIG FAILURE in this case. We really wanted this to work but you have behaved very badly. I wanted you to call me back to resolve this. You chose not to. Sad. Let's see if this gets your attention."

I would give no stars if I could. Do NOT order online from this company! We placed an order early in the week for Saturday delivery and it never came. I called the company and they didn't answer. I called the shipper and they said the order wasn't even in the system. I had to call 3 times the following week to make sure the order was cancelled. It had never even shipped out. They didn't contact me to let me know or even apologize. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with from any company! Save your time and money and order elsewhere from someone who knows how to run a business.

WONDERFUL!!! This place was so so so wonderful, we stopped by while we were on vacation, one of the Rangers from Janes Island State Park told us about Linton's and i am so glad we stopped in!! The food was so good, and the service was wonderful!! We had to go back the next day so we could try something else!!

For the first time last year I ordered my fish from Linton's for our traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner. The fish ordered was absolutely fantastic. The crabmeat was so sweet, the lobster tails so juicy and the shrimp were certainly colossal and tasty. We just placed our order for this year and we are looking forward to a wonderful family dinner.
