The Mead MakerDerek Batz - Owner/Head Mead makerDragonfire Meadery was born from a passion of making mead also known as Honey Wine and enjoying it with family and friends. Honey wine is a wonderful drink for all sorts of occasions, it doesn't need to be a special event to enjoy a glass of mead. I enjoy the variety that mead offers and my line highlights some of the wonderful combinations of honey wine available. I craft mead in small batches because it allows me to have a higher degree of control over my honey wine in the end.
