During the late sixties the inventor and founder of Uniweb, Karl Weber, responded to a need and the Uniweb shape was developed as an alternative to pegboard. Since that time, the company has developed products that include wall systems, gondolas, counter walls and a selection of accessories. Uniweb later obtained a patent on their pharmacy system and Modular pharmacy. The Modular Pharmacy is customized to fit within the customer s available footprint. This complete room arrives in kit form with installation drawings and can be installed in a couple of days. Uniweb's all steel panels consist of continuous horizontal channels, vertically spaced every inch. This allows maximum utilization of the display surface and flexibility in merchandise placement. The company is located in Corona, Calif. and employs 150 employees.
