To many seniors have died in apts and no one knew till it starts smelling. They might as well living in a nursing home.

I would not recommend this place to anyone's parents. The 2 years that we've had our parent here, have been unsatisfactory. Their requirements to be accepted into their housing facility do not match the lack of service they provide for their tenants. There are people living on the premises that have children, have extended families, and the grounds keeping is alarming. Pet feces by the doorways, the carpets haven't been replaced in years, in the hallways. Pet feces in the elevators. This place has deteriorated in just 2 years. The police have been called for suspicious people on the premises, possibly selling narcotics. The parking gates are broken and left open for anyone accessing the property. The tenants put in their concerns only to be met with hostility by the management team. If they are late on their rent because of a holiday weekend, they are harassed, badgered into paying their $75 fee. The management calls their tenants to tell them to sign for a package in their office, and under duress they make the seniors sign another lease. This property management will be reported to the BBB. New management needs to take over. I'm very much disgusted with unequal and unfair practices at River Run. DO NOT rent here.

I've been here at river run for 6 months and all I hear are complaints!!! Some apartments have roaches, some have bedbugs! what I can't get over is the alarming turn-over rate. Every employee has their own free apartment, and some have small children. If you have an issue about a repair, it takes a week or two for someone to respond! The security gates are busted half the time, and people just drive in and out! My lease will expire in Oct. 2014 and I am already looking for another place. If you decide to move here, be forewarned, once you move in, you get a cold shoulder.

I enjoy the view from my apartment. like the size of my apartment, but unfortunately I cannot say very good things about our community office staff members. They have changed so much in the time that I have lived here. They have become so impolite and short with me and other senior tenants. I cannot understand why they treat me and other senior tenants this way, as seniors we deserve courtesy, respect and attention from them, but unfortunately for those of us, like me, who cannot afford to move-out we are forced to deal with their miserable and unjust ways. At times we feel there is a heavy social racism in the way they treat some of us.
