In 1921, Jerry McJunkin and H. Bernard Wehrle set out with a vision to create a business for the purpose of servicing West Virginia's oil and gas industry. Establishing McJunkin Supply Company, the two brothers-in-law began their business in a small warehouse located in downtown Charleston, WV. Today, McJunkin Corporation has grown to include over 125 branch locations in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Nigeria with more than 1,600 employees. Exclusively geared toward the distribution of industrial PVF products, McJunkin Corporation has expanded their focus from oil and gas to include such areas as chemical and petrochemical, refining processes, power companies, and mining, just to name a few. Lead by the third generation of the Wehrle Family, for over 85 years McJunkin has focused on the business of distribution, which reflects our investments, growth, and successes. By doing so, McJunkin has developed an expertise unmatched by other companies.
