One word.....Extra-or-di-nary!!!! It's truly been a blessing coming to Gifted Hands to get my hair done. Ms. Shanda has truly transformed my hair. She's helped me to transition from relaxed to natural hair. Prior to coming to Gifted Hands my hair was really dry, difficult for me to manage, and had some heat damage. Since Ms. Shanda has been doing my hair my hair is healthy, has great elasticity and my curls are gorgeous. In addition to Ms. Shanda taking the time to educate me in how to take care of natural hair, she's also taught me how to care for my daughters hair. She's very detail oriented and creative. She did a very creative style on my hair with a zipper. I love it. It's unique and beautiful. When I come to Gifted Hands I definitely receive a spa experience, I get a scalp massage and the works. The atmosphere is always nice and everyone is nice. Ms. Shanda keep doing what you're doing. God Bless.

This lady is a crock. She initially quoted 175 for my hair and charged me 230. Please beware she hides up under the cloth of Jesus but she isn't nothing but a wolf in sheep clothing. BEWARE she gouges prices and over charge for everything. She is nothing more than a thief and I told her so!

I've been to several salons in Killeen and Harker Heights, TX. By far Gifted Hands Salon is the first place I've been to where the hairstylist, Shonda, is very knowledgeable about natural hair, texture, and color. Most places just focus on hair styles. I went to Shonda because my hair was colored at one of those other salons and turned green. They did not know how to fix it. It was my son's graduation that night. I was referred to Gifted Hands by another salon who did not do black hair. I went to Shonda and she not only fixed the color but also helped me to transition from relaxed to natural hair. That was about five years ago. Shonda is very flexible and will try to fit me in every time I call. My work schedule does not allow me to make regular appointments. If you want a cheap hairstyle go to a cheap salon. If you want healthy hair and a stylist that cares about what you want then go see Shonda. The key is to communicate your vision and see what Shonda's "Gifted Hands" can do.

I've been coming to give Gifted hands beauty salon the last past 4 years, she's very detail oriented, and also she understands the quality of professionalism,and time management,and she listening to your vision and enter tie her vision with yours to make your vision an success, ,, I will refer her to any of my friends and colleagues.

I love love love. Ms Shanda . She took time to take my Dreads out, saved most of my hair. And I didn't have to go bald and start fresh. 10's all around. Im retired now and headed right back to Ms. Shanda. See you soon.Michelle

i just had my lashes done an hour ago and a chunk had already fallen off . the lashes are all over the place, it looked messy, and well, a chunk fell off while i was eating.



the second day after my appointment, and all that's left on my lashes is 2 little sections, it looks awful :(

I went at 9am for a haircut. The lady said she won't be able to do it until about noon. I said that's fine. I show up at noon and she says no I told you...oh shoot. Then tries to clean it up and say I told you to come at 12. I said it's 1205. She said yeah but this other lady walked in before you. Bad business. Seriously?? I already know what the problem is and it wasn't me showing up at 1205. She said "about noon" not exactly noon. The sad thing is, I was giving them a second chance since the first time I went they cut my hair uneven. I'll be sure to NEVER refer anyone. Not that they care. Except for only thing. Or should I say COLOR.

If you want to look your best and feel amazing, then you need to visit Gifted Hands Salon! I normally make an appointment but Shanda, the owner, has also made time for me in her schedule if I did not have an appointment. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with vibrant colors all over the salon. I have been to many salons but this one tops them all!

I made an appointment for my 5-year-old for 3 pm on a Saturday. I did arrive 2 minutes late but my stylist was 45 minutes late...not very professional. I decided to stay and when they finally got started i was not all that happy with the progress. I dod have to tell them to redo to nraids.before.thry got too far into the style. The braids looked messy and not of the quality one would expect from aa profeasional. Needless to say, I will not be returning.. First time and last time.

It was great!! I loved everything about the salon. Getting my hair done and massage done was amazing.

This is the best salon that ive been to in years. The service is great and the staff makes my time worth wild being there. I drive from Houston Texas jus to get my hair and nails done. I cannot wait until my next appointment.

Words cannot express how happy and thankful I am for having visited this salon! Being bi-racial with kinky curly hair, you almost get used to stylists being overwhelmed by your texture. I've yet to come across anyone who truly understands my curls, and works with it as opposed to against it, until I got my hair done here. Miss Shanda transformed my hair with gorgeous honey highlights and a wonderful trim! The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and makes your time there that much more enjoyable. I cannot wait to return for future services and indulge in their spa as well!
