The mechanic ran up nearly a thousand dollars of UNAUTHORIZED repairs on a vehicle that's probably only worth about $2000. Another shop I had gone to offered to do my repairs for less than $200. I found out too late that the shop already had an F rating from the BBB. I wish I would have checked sooner, because it could have saved me nearly a thousand dollars in unwanted repairs.

I didn't know about their F-rating until after the mechanic ran up an unauthorized $900 repair bill without giving an estimate of the cost. I wish I would have checked their BBB rating before I went there.
