Established in Bailey, Colorado in 2004, Clear Results is a home based business owned and operated by Dan Kucera. We provide full-service bookkeeping and accounting, billing, tax services, payroll, construction job costing and draws plus small business start-up and management consulting.Our purpose is to provide experienced and competent finance and management services to individuals and small businesses who do not yet need a full time employee devoted to such. Most people start a business because they have a product or service that they like and that can generate revenue. Most likely their strength is in selling and delivering that product or service, not doing bookkeeping. And while they may have developed a workable system to keep accounts, the time spent doing so could be better spent doing what they do best ( and what makes them money ). That's where we come in.Clear Results can provide an experienced, professional and cost-effective resource for your bookkeeping and administrative needs. And what is the result? Freedom for you to concentrate on what you do best. More time to spend on selling and delivering your products or services, with the added benefit of knowing that your books are clean, orderly and verifiable. Not only that, but when you have a clear look at your financial status you can make better decisions and evaluate your past decisions with certainty. When you know what worked and what didn't, you can more easily determine which direction to take for greater prosperity and expansion.Dan Kucera, the owner and primary service provider of Clear Results, was born February 2, 1959 in Sterling, Colorado. Worked in highway construction in early years, then moved on to Explosive Fabricators, Inc in 1980. Worked through the ranks from general labor to Field Operations Supervisor during 5 1/2 years at this Louisville, Colorado company. Learned many skills during this time including heavy equipment operation, welding, technical use of explosives, crew and schedule management. Left in 1985 and moved on to an Administrative Assistant position at Fowler Software Design in Eldorado Springs, Colorado. Responsibilities at this job included clerical/administrative functions, marketing projects, programmer/client scheduling, billing and service as well as some technical work. Moved on after 5 years to first bookkeeping position Missouri Holdings Corporation in Boulder. This job encompassed commercial construction accounting with job control/costing and highly complex bank draws. Learned accounting basics as well as advanced applications of accounting principals under the tutelage of a highly skilled, experienced accountant. Left this job in 1992 to create his own business providing bookkeeping and accounting. Operated the business with great success up to late 2001, when he took an accounting position with Bede Scientific, Inc in Englewood, CO. His responsibilities expanded at Bede from mere accounting to Senior Manager Finance and Administration, covering all phases of accounting and finance management, office management, human resources and computer information systems.
