Carondelet High School, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, provides Catholic education to young women. Its curriculum includes English, industrial arts, mathematics, modern languages, physical education, religious studies, science, social studies, visual and performing arts and computer science. Its athletic department offers various sport activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance, diving, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball and water polo. Its library provides various resources and materials for the overall development of students. It has various clubs, such as art, book and film. Its college and career center assist students and answer questions on colleges, careers, scholarships, testing and financial aid. Carondelet High School is located in Concord, Calif.
