July/2013....I have often stayed at little local places to get a better feel for the towns, but this was not what I expected. it really should be condemned, the water from tap was brown, moldy A/C unit, bad wiring couldn't even plug in what they claimed they had, microwave, mini-fridge, or coffee pot only one at a time, the lighting was awful, no place for bags or anyplace to put stuff to take a shower. The door looked like it had been kicked in with the molding over an inch from the the door. The pillows were lumpy and the bed gritty... really it was like sleeping in sand. It was way over priced for what it was. Never again we left early and had there not been another hotel we would have been happier sleeping in the car. We stayed at a chain hotel for the rest of the trip and it was wonderful... I will say the staff was nice but they knew it was a bad place she even said " i shouldn't have offered it to you" we paid 89$ for the room and we have places in the inner city for $29 that are way nicer.. I was shocked by the price. Hopefully the other rooms might be nicer... but the one I was in was a pit. and while the review suggestion says to describe this as if talking to my best friend,,, if i were talking to a friend it would have been much worse description.
