I cant even begin to describe how horrible the service is with this company, the people are smart mouthed and disrespectful, the buisness hours are ridiculous they are not even a full time scrap yard. when i finally did catch them open they only had a 4 foot scale so i sat in line until i just finally gave up. the review above me saying they made 20 dollars more must be a joke or she has never experienced a professional business atmosphere!!!! i went right down the street to School St. with a big mixture expecting to just throw it off and get paid. the owner walked outside and started to seperate my scrap and tell me the difference between it all and handed me a magnet so i could use it to make sure if i had aluminum, copper, brass or if it was just iron. this Enviro Metals must be very rich to open when ever they want. Go down the street to be greeted with great customer serveice and a business that wants you to make the most for your scrap, unless you like long lines and a second rate service. Id rather take my stuff to the county dump then ever goto enviro metals again. I wouldnt want my worst enemy to have to endure theses peoples attitudes!

I had the best experience today at Enviro Metals. The staff was very helpful with explaining the different types of metal I had brought in. I made about $20 more than I would have at the other scrap yard in Columbia. I'm so happy we have somewhere else to take scrap material. I didn't feel ripped off and treated like a second rate citizen. Thank You Enviro Metals- I'll be seeing you soon.
