Provided by YP.comHarry was extremely helpful and this place has a very friendly atmosphere. He went out of his way to help me. I'm not sure about the rest of the staff, I only dealt with Harry. They just gained a customer because of him.

Provided by YP.comI've tried with this place several times, buying strings, various guitar equipment pieces, etc. Frankly, I've just had it. It never fails that every time I'm in here, the staff act very condescending. They treat people like they are the stupidest people on the planet. Not only that, they're clueless. I asked what the difference was between two sets of guitar strings and after the guy got done scoffing like I'd insulted him, he said they're basically the same. Right... that's why one set is
$6.50 and another is $12. These people are difficult and I'm done giving them my money. My suggestion, find somewhere else to support.

Established in 1959 Pecknel Music was founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 1959 by George Peck, who had retired after 40 years of teaching music in public schools. For 28 of those years, George Peck had been a band director. Mr. Peck knew band and choral directors throughout the Carolinas, and he knew there was a critical need for a retail music service genuinely interested in school music and school musicians. It was Mr. Peck's conviction that the retail music business should be a responsible partner in music education at every age level. It is due to the determination of George Peck and his son Nicholas Peck that Pecknel Music prospered on the principles that the company stands for: integrity, unquestioned business ethics, vitality, and growth. Product mix has changed over the years and this company has rapidly adjusted to best serve our customers. The Greenville store has been in it's present location since 1962 and in 1967 we opened our Columbia location, followed in 1977 by our Charleston store.
