Ewers Tires has been my go-to place for years. I traveled with my job, so I had regular servicing done at the Fairview Location. They were always pleasant, remembered me, called me by name, knew my place of employment, etc. Car always done when they said it would be, gave me rides to work if needed. If I needed to run by for a quick question, or problem they were available to help me. I'm not traveling anymore, so I don't get to take a car in for service nearly as often as previous years, but I highly would reccomend them

Ewers Tires

These guys weren't helpful to me at all. For my car quoted a weeks wait for tires that fit factory rims. And my husband bought tires from them. He went in shortly after having them put on thinking he needed them balanced, the guys at Ewers told him he had a bent rim. When we took the car to our mechanic, he said the rims were fine and we just had a thrown weight. It's their business to know wheels and tires, and can't even get that right! Not getting our business again!

I went there just to get a wheel balanced and they said I my rim was bent and needed a new one. I went somewhere else and found out my rim wasn't bent I was just missing weights off it. So they either don't know how to do there own job or they were trying to screw me. Regardless I was not happy.

Good Customer Service?

I called Ewers Tires to get a quote for swapping some used tires over on the rims for an old Jeep project that I'm working on. I needed the tires replaced with some smaller ones during the rebuild and then I plan to have a full set of new tires put on near the end of the project.

I was taken aback when I taked to the guy in the shop area when he acted like I was bothering him and he told me that Ewers is in business to sell new tires, not to be bothered with "Carry-Ins". He did tell me they would do it for $20 per wheel, plus $3 dosposal fee per wheel.

Well, Big O Tires has agreed to do this job for me for $35.60 total and they were very welcoming and friendly.

In my job, I take care of 6 fleet vehicles, plus 3 of my own. I don't believe I'll be taking any of them to Ewers in the future...not even if they gave me the tires!
