Customer service sucks.....

I am a retired and pretty badly disabled veteran. It isn’t always easy for me to get out to a restaurant or get takeout so I was looking for a meal that I could get delivered. I thought of Joey’s, having visited them in the past I looked up their information on their web page. The webpage was great giving all the information I required and explained they delivered within a 5 mile radius. I used “Bing” to plot the driving distance between their location and mine. Putting my address first and theirs second it plotted a 4.2 mile distance. I called to see if they would deliver to my address. The server that took my call explained that they use “Google Maps” and it says (putting their address first) the distance is 5.2 miles. Just over the 5 miles. Which I explained didn’t make sense, but that isn’t a true radius anyway, at that time I was dismissed and abruptly hung up on. I used the ”Google maps” and from my home to Joeys NY Pizza is also 4.2 miles, but putting their address first it indicates the 5.2. I called back and asked the server if he hung up on me, he claimed no, we just got disconnect, but also later explained he didn’t have time for this. At this point I didn’t wish to place an order fearing what they might do to my food. He didn’t have time for my explaining how Google Maps plotted their route to me incorrectly indicating they must drive a mile out of their way in the opposite direction to turn around and head west towards my location. It did not take into account that Joey’s drivers could drive directly to a stoplight just west of their location. Because I was rudely dismissed by this server I am placing this comment on every review I can find and informing family, friends, and fellow veteran’s to think twice before ordering from this establishment.

Great people and true NY taste, just like Italian "familia." U must try there garlic dough balls! Absolutely amazing! I almost like those better than the pizza!

Great ingredients ... good crust, but needs to cook a little longer.

I like slightly brown'd cheese ... first try was tasty but I had to re-heat.



Good quality toppings, good crust, another 90 seconds in the oven and
