Professional staff, reasonable prices, cars are easy to find in yard

I visited ABC for the first time today. All I can say is that the service that I received was first class. I found an instrument cluster on a parts locator. I called ABC to verify that it was in stock. Monty said that he would check and call me back. About 1/2 hour later, he called and said it was in, but it was damaged so he would discount it below what was shown. I asked if he would hold it for me, and he said that he would. Many, if not most, pick 'n pull shops are first come, first serve, and have flat out refused to hold anything for me.

So I drove down and they got the cluster for me. They let me go test it, which again is not SOP for many yards. The other guy behind the desk told me the price, which was the discounted price Monty had given me on the phone. No games, no "this is the locator price", no BS, just a transaction that I feel went well beyond what I could reasonably expect. ABC went beyond what I have experienced to date, and I will happily buy from them in the future.

I went into ABC a few weeks ago looking for the back seat for my dakota. They were the only place that I could find that had them and told me $250 and they are yours, I went in to pick them up and the seats were stained with oil and only God knows what else. It wasn't even for the right cab. I told them this and they immediately took them back and said they would call me in a week when the correct seats came in. When they called me they said they can get me the right seats for another $80... that was alright because nobody else sells them. I finally went to pick them up a MONTH later and they were the wrong material but the right seats. However, now they wanted a grand total of $450. $200 more than what they originally promised me. I took them anyway because I was sick of dealing with the monkeys and they wouldnt refund me the $250 i already paid.I got home only to find out that it wasn't even a complete set. I don't have half of what i need to i stall them and I dont have seat belts They aren't going to do anything about it. No refund, no parts credit, nothing. They rudely told me that they are my problem now and good luck. This has happened on more than 1 occasion and with everyone I know that has gone there. I will never be doing business with ABC and unless your made of money, I wouldn't recommend you do either.

I think the guys there are awesome and go above and beyond to help you. Thank you for going to my mechanics shop to help him out with my engine!!! The best service in town and thank you for helping us find a reasonable engine in Kansas !!!!

Great place to get parts. I have had nothing but positive experiences dealing with these guys for the past ten years. Half of my Volvo is probably from parts that I got at ABC. You won't deal with better people.

They have the worst service in the salvage yard industry . I had a bad experience with them in the past but had no choice but to return for a hood i couldnt find no where else . they down grade there customers and dont care for them . I am seriously considering a trip to Denver that is 85 miles farther but is worth it to avoid them , and give my buisness to a company that deserves my money.

I have been getting parts in salvage yards for 50 years all across the country, since i restore old cars. I also repair cars for single moms in my church. so I have a lot of experience dealing with various yards. ABC is the worst in Colorado Springs for sure. They ARE rude. They also DO quote prices that they won't honor after you come in and pull the part off their vehicle. Recently, I got their quote for a car door, took it off, then found they wanted to charge me extra for EVERYTHING OVER AND ABOVE THE DOOR SKIN. The one who quoted the door originally was Terry. He also was the one who wanted to charge me extra for everything else beyond the door skin. That experience made me decide to USE ABC ONLY AS A LAST RESORT, when the part is available nowhere else in town, and even then, I would go to Pueblo if it was available there and I had the time to go there to get it.

The people at ABC Auto are extremely unprofessional, rude, and when it comes to ethics, they could use a lot of help! They took advantage of our misfortune (a wrecked vehicle) and made the entire experience even worse. Since we live out of town, it was necessary for us to get quotes over the phone so that we could make arrangements to get our vehicle and get the parts we needed. The first time I had called, I was given a set of quotes on the parts we needed; however, I did not get the name of the man I spoke with (that was my fault; I can live with that). Obviously, the second time I called, they wouldn't honor those prices. The second time I spoke with them, I was given another set of quotes. This time, I spoke with a man named Terry. We made all arrangements necessary; we picked up our truck and went to get the parts. They wouldn't honor this set of quotes either. The prices went from $19.99 to $75.00 each for different panels that we needed. They knew that they had us under a barrel and took advantage of it. They were extremely unfriendly to deal with. While talking with other salvage yards about my experience with ABC Auto, I was told that this was a familiar pattern of behavior with the staff at ABC Auto. I wasn't telling them anything they hadn't heard before. I will never use ABC Auto nor would I recommend them to anyone!
