I gave them an entire house air conditioning compressor, which was too heavy for me to pick up, which had a copper stator that I removed along with other parts to show them and not to mention a partial tote of metal miscellany. All in all, I got less than $6. for everything. How then is a copper stator that feels like a bowling ball pay so little? If copper is over a $1. per pound then I got ripped off.

Great place to recycle! It's convenient, right off the highway. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The new owners have cleaned up the yard and the facility considerably!

I've been going here for a few months now and it's the fourth time they've written down a lesser weight than what I actually brought in. Last time I brought in 12lbs of #1 copper and they gave me 8 lbs at #2 copper price. This time I brought 11lbs of clean brass and was only given 5lbs. I asked about both times and never got a straight answer. I guess from now on I just need to go to Top Metal on my way home from work.
