Our child has been attending Children's Academy for a little over a year now, so has spanned a few of the different aged rooms. We adored Miss Christina from the infant room, the director Miss Courtney is always helpful, knowledgeable and very flexible with our part-time schedule. After the infant area, the more advanced age rooms are very structured with art projects that the kids get to bring home, book reading, singing songs and they maintain detailed sheets of the little one's diaper changes, eating/drinking habits, any incidents that may have come up, etc. The outdoor play areas and indoor rooms and toys are clean and well maintained. All of the staff make such a great effort to keep parents updated on how their child is doing. We couldn't be happier.

I love this daycare.!! My daughter goes there.!! I really don't like seeing all these mean things about the daycare center. I love children's Academy in Cda. Just to clear things up. If there was a staff member on there phone they most likely were off the clock and just still hanging around in the building. They have a no cell phone policy for staff members. The owner does live in California. yes, but the manager is on site every day. I really enjoy the daycare center it's clean and friendly staff.

Pull my kid not to long ago due to the fact I walked in not once but twice to the teacher on her cell phone texting with her back turned to the kids.. She didnt even know I was there for almost 3 mins. After I went to get my child and he/she had a HUGE bump/bruise on there head and the teacher simply told me she did not know what happened.. She did not see anything.. I was fed up,who knows what happens when shes updating her Facebook status every 5 mins.. Much better at the new daycare, love it.

I am shocked to have just read this review! I have been taking my son to the Children's Academy for a week now and have been very happy with the care provided. His teacher and I have a nice conversation every time I pick him up and she tells me everything he did, what he ate, if he used the potty or missed, etc. I do admit that some of the ladies that work there are younger than I, and I am only 28 years old, but they all seem quite competent and caring individuals. I especially love my son’s teacher and could never ever imagine her screaming in any child’s face, and I pop in unexpectedly all the time since we are new to this facility. Since my son has only really been with this one teacher, I suppose it is possible that there may be a bad egg in the carton but I have not come across anyone like that yet. If I do ever have a complaint, I will be sure to update this review but for now I would like to say that my son seems to love it there and the other children in his classroom all seem very happy as well.

this daycare is not a place you want to take your children. it is ran by young children and the owner lives in California and is never there when you need to talk to her. the workers leave infants unattended in the room while they go get food or just to talk. i saw cell phones out and talking amongst workers while children were running and hitting each other.i saw teachers grabbing the children with full force and yelling in there face. when i asked questions all i got was an i don't know or i could find out for you.there is not talking when parents come to pick up children, just a simple hi and bye. this daycare is uneducated and scares me deeply,dont bring your children there. and if your children go there now remove them, because you have no idea what's REALLY going on.
