My Fiance currently lives here while she is attending grad school. I am beyond irritated with this place and I don't even live there. The refrigerator door seal was damaged so a 4 inch gap on the door would just leak out into the room. So much condensation would build up in the fridge that she would have to wipe the shelves every few days so her food was not sitting in puddles of water. This also caused the door to rust and mold which had to be constantly cleaned. She notified them several times that it had issues yet no one came for months until one day showing up without notice finally with a new refrigerator. The AC/Heater unit runs constantly and even if you put the heater on low heat at 55 degrees the apartment turns into a sauna. Go figure no repair on that. She is from out of state and lives there by herself as mentioned above for school. If someone knocks at her door she has no reason to answer it because she does not have any visitors. Maintenance knocks once and then just enters the apartment. As a female living alone this is something that is unsettling for her. If she was in the shower and did not hear the knock, imagine how startling it would be to come out of the bathroom in a towel to a man standing in your house that you don't know. We requested they shoot her an email a text a call or a notification in her mail box of a rough estimate as to when maintenance was coming, their response? Oh its in the least that we can just enter the apartment. I totally agree with them being able to enter the apartment, that is fine as it is their property. We simply asked for notice so she is at least aware yet the only response we get every time is "we are legally allowed to enter the apartment." For months we had to complain to them to add a peep hole so she could at least look and see who it was. We were told no one else had them yet all of the neighbors doors did. There are constant spiders and bugs in her house and I can assure you it is not due to lack of cleanliness because she is a bit of a neat freak. In addition to the fact that there is rarely any food in the cabinets since she is only there for a few days a week. The walls are also very thin and she can hear her neighbors TV, Music, and weekly Karaoke night through the sink drain. One night she was walking by her sink and noticed it was filling up with water, not from the faucet, but backing up from the drain and could hear the neighbors sink running. Some how the pipes are connected and occasionally nasty brown water backs up into her sink. Surprise, still no response from maintenance. I cannot wait until she is done school so she can get out of this dump of a place.
