My car was having miscellaneous lights come on and off, and Blacklock's gave us a free computer diagnostic. The battery was causing low voltage to the computer; they replaced, reset and tested... at a very reasonable price. Best mechanics, and auto service in town! Thank you

Insurance Nightmare

Had my vehicle towed to Blacklocks when I broke down three times in the same afternoon. Had an insurance claim pending for 2 and a half months. Discovered my insurance would not completely cover my claim so I had my vehicle towed home. This Jeep had been a nightmare from its purchase at the sales lot. I could not afford anymore service invoices. Thank you Blacklocks for your patience during my insurance claim processing.

Horrible Service

other than the continual pushing priority of new appointments in front me knowing i had a deadline, here. took the car here to have the timing adjusted and checked over after doing a 120k service myself. they said they would start on it as soon as it got there, ended up sitting on it for a 3-4 weeks - claimed to fix a misfire(was included in the cost), they didnt fix anything - cut heat shrink and did not reshrink - caused a coolant leak - lost all the bolts for throttle cover - pin sized hole in new tire with ~100 miles - put my coil packs and spark plugs in the front seat with the doors unlocked right by the street overall it was overpriced for a job they didnt complete

Forever Thankful for Great Service

Well my story started 2.5 months ago when I took my car to anouther shop in town. They had my baby for 2 months and where estimating 1500 to 2000 in repairs. When me and my husband got the 1500 we called them trying to get a steady number. When they where too busy to call us back for anouther 3 weeks we got the car towed to blacklock. They got us a estimate in 4 days. (amazing considering it was already broken down by anouther shop) Parts took 2 days to come in and the repair was done in anouther 2 days. So about a week and a half I had my baby working for 1168.xx way under what the other shop gave us. being a one car family it was a huge and stressful issue to be out of a car for that long. I am so thankful for blacklock and how fast and professional they are. They are now and forever will be my shop of choice. Thank you so much guys. :)

Great service, fast and professional!!!

Traveling from San Antonio Tx to Colorado Springs with air conditioner fan motor problems. Fan was operating half speed or not at all. Went to Blacklock's first thing in the morning and by the time I had breakfast across the street the problem was found and fixed. I mean literally out the door, start to finish in 45 minutes. They got me back on the road with that short of a delay...and the job was done professionally and at a reasonable price. I would HIGHLY recommend Ronnie and his crew...true professionals!!! If you are a local or just passing through, you can't beat Blacklock's on 7th!!! Thanks again!

They treat you like family!

I have been a customer of Blacklock's for nearly 10 years. In that time they have worked on 4 different vehicles for me and I have recommended them to several of my friends. My experience has been completely opposite of the comment posted by James Hill. On several occasions I have asked about a 'noise' or a bulb or some similar small thing while I was there and if it was something that could be done on the spot they just took care of it. Ronnie, the owner, usually declined to add that small item to my ticket. It is my opinion that the Blacklocks really do treat their customers like family. I happened to see them there on 7/4 and I stopped to ask why they were open. It turned out that Ronnie and one of the mechanics came in to finish a vehicle for a customer who was terminally ill. He had broken down in Clovis and was trying to get across country to see someone while he still could. His transmission had come back from another shop at the end of the day on 7/3. Ronnie and Jr. understood that this customer really was counting the days so they gave up part of their holiday to install his transmission. I thought it was amazing!

Horrible Service

I took my car to Blacklocks a couple months ago before I moved out of state. I had just done a 120k service on it but needed the timing adjusted.Car sat in their lot for about a week and then they got it started. At this point it had only been a week even though they said they would start on it immediately after its arrival so I keep it there for them to fix a misfire they found.-- now I was checking daily after work due to the initial delay-- they had left my coil packs and spark plugs in the front seat with the doors unlockedAnother week and a half goes by and I havent heard anything from them, the car has not moved, but has a new flat tire. Brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them.I call them and let them know I need it done since I am moving, and they say alright they will get it done.Another week and a half goes by, and I am moving. They tell me they fixed it but there is a coolant leak. They were supposed to have replaced a bolt that was snapped on the inlet tube. They loosened the inlet tube but did not remove the bolt or repair the issue leaving me with a coolant leak that was not there previously. They never told me about the flat tire but apparently used fix a flat on it. I had no time as Id given them a month already and was moving so I took the car $650 dollars later with my new coolant leak.Took the car to NM Imports in ABQ since I no longer had a garage to fix the coolant leak myself. The misfire was not fixed like Blacklocks said it was.Tire had a pin size hole that I had to have patched a couple days after moving.NM Imports got me fixed up in a days time and only $400 later.

I was very happy with the service

I was traveling and had car trouble in Clovis. I went to Blacklock auto service and found them to be professional, friendly and well priced. They got me back on the road fast and with a smile. I was happy with the experience even though a vehicle breakdown is a bummer. James Gerace Sr
