Our 3 year old son is now on his 3rd week attending the PeeWee class in this gym. There are several things we like about this place:

We LIKE that they have skilled, trained, and patient instructors

We LIKE that they have a good class size -- the kids in attendance are balanced out by the number of coaches on the mat.

We LIKE that they accept approximations of the tasks they ask our "young" :) son to do (such as warm up exercises, basic Jiu Jitsu stance and drills) while gradually correcting him to build his accuracy

We LIKE that they repeat the basic Jiu Jitsu techniques/drills (I don't really know the terms..hahaha) in several sessions. Because we believe that repetition aids retention, and that retention aids comprehension.

Most importantly, we LIKE that our son enjoys going to this gym and we know that because since the coaches taught breaking the fall in class, he has been doing it at home and even getting us to practice it too.:) Our goal is not for him to master the skills yet since he is still young. But for him to build the foundations such as balance, cooperation, focus and ability to follow.

We highly recommend this gym if you have a young child/children and thinking of getting him/them into Jiu Jitsu. Don't TAP OUT before even giving it a try. We almost did but sure glad we didn't. (A child is only limited by what his parents let him try.:-)

This place is great Ive been training there with my family for a while now. The gym has a very humble vibe and is good for all ages and skill level. Awesome place!
