I've never been to this place before. This is under new management since 2017. The fellow giving me my haircut was quite taken with his "talent" or so he kept reminding me. I gave him some instructions about what I wanted and he kept saying "don't worry, trust me, I've been doing this for years". He asked me what size electric trimmer he should use. What? Like I should know what he should use. He then showed me the electric blade size. I told him I didn't intend to become a barber so the blade size was not important. Anyway, things like this kept coming up during my haircut. At the end I paid him the amount shown which was $20. He was taken aback that I didn't give him more. I told him that as the owner and not an employee the $20 (which is enough in my mind for a local ordinary barber) that it's this amount that I want to pay. He continued to stare at me and I informed him that it was extremely bad manners and rude to try and coerce an extra $1 or $2 from me. I began to leave and then as I shut the door he screamed "fu-k you". Folks, I don't care if this haircut came gold-plated, this is one despicable, nasty self involved guy. This is Tony's Barber Shop in Cliffside Park, NJ. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Who need's this? Sure, others will tell you about their haircut, but I'm telling you about the Owner.

Stay away. Place looks unkept and unsanitary. Did not have time to go to another barber or certainly would have. Left with multiple cuts on my neck. Did not receive the hair cut, which is basic that I asked for. Got what looks like a Korean hair-do. After I showered at home and blow dried my hair I saw how uneven it was. This place has been here a long time but the barber even smoke's inside. Cough! Do not bring your kids here either! Health Department should be notified.
