Unprofessional front staff and management with lack of customer service. In the beginning, front staff looks friendly but in reality, you are one more number for the practice. First time writing a negative review but felt compelled to tell my story with Hohman Rehab. Per my insurance, I was entitled to unlimited physical therapy, but after 20 visits they informed me the same day that I ran out of therapies. I asked my PT (Maryann) if she thinks I needed more and if so, if Hohman can request for more. She said I definitely will benefit of more therapy but that the insurance won’t approve for more than what is allowed per year. THIS SHOWED ME THAT THEY DO NOT ADVOCATE FOR THEIR PATIENTS. 2 1/2 months later after stopping with the therapies while enrolling with the same health insurance for 2020, I realized I was entitled to unlimited physical therapies. From the very beginning the front desk staff was arrogant and not easy to deal with, specifically when your benefits and entitlements were questioned but I continued with them because I liked my PT. After my insurance opened up an investigation, they noticed that Hohman Rehab wrongly interpreted my benefits. I called Hohman to inquire about this and also, to have a 2nd massage that was offered to me for referring new patients, but the front staff person, Jamie, was rude and hung up the call on me when requesting to talk to the manager since she was questioning how I got the coupon even though it was given to me by my PT. I called again and spoke with Justin (manager), who acknowledged that Jamie told him that she hung up the call, but never apologized until after +/- 35 min. of talking about different incidents with them , when I made him aware of him not even apologizing for their mistakes and Jamie’s lack of professionalism. When called Hohman, my intention was to let them know they misinformed me about my physical therapy benefits and to continue with the therapies and have the second free massage. After the lack of Hohman acceptance of making a mistake, I ended up going to another physical therapy place, Ability Rehabilitation, to continue with the therapies and I am happy with their professionalism and knowledge. Ability was surprised to find out that Hohman did not go the extra step to request more therapy when needed. However, by the end of December 2019 I realized I was in need of continue physical therapy, which if it was not for Hohman Rehab mistake, I would have had about 2 ½ months of therapies at $8.50 each (about 24 therapies) instead of $55.50 each since the insurance deductible reset for 2020. After talking to my health insurance about my hardship, they suggested for me to call Hohman again and see if they can provide me with 2 months of therapies at the same cost of $8.50 each to compensate for their mistake. Hohman manager, Justin, told me that they were not able to do it since it will cost them money. THIS SHOWED ME ONE MORE TIME THAT THEY ARE NOT COMIMITTED TO THEIR PATIENTS AND THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Going back , about a month of being seeing by their PT (2-3 times a week), I referred my daughter and husband with them not knowing that for referrals they were offering a free 30-minute massage. My PT gave me 2 coupons for referring them. I have already stop going to their practice since I “did not” have more visits included but called one day to have my free massage. I was given a hard time by the front staff questioning how I got the 2 coupons that I had to involve the manager. The manager approved my massages. Later, I had to cancel my massage since I was scheduled for a surgery and the front staff (Dena) gave me a hard time to reschedule. When I went to use the other coupon the front staff again, Jamie, was refusing to let me use it and was questioning again how I got the coupon even though It was already approved by the manager. The staff is friendly yet professional. I feel my goal of diminished pain and greater strength is achievable and that the therapists care about my progress. I always leave feeling positive.

I had a shoulder replacement and went to Hohman Rehab ,all the people there were friendly . They worked very hard to help me. I am on my 3rd of 5 weeks and I am sure by the end I will be able to use my shoulder like new. I would recommend them to all who need rehab. I love Kelly thank you for all you done for me

I met with a physical therapist on my first visit. after that I was given a diet coach named Morgan who was nice and polite but I do not think they had any experience with a Calcaneal fracture. They need more physical therapist to treat and do therapy with patients not diet coaches. I feel they could do better.

Great staff. almost no wait time and results you see after the first visit. I began to get relief after my first visit and each visit provided additional noticeable results until now I can move freely and with little pain. (I think that will be NO pain after my last visit.)

Awesome staff and therapists. Friendly and gentle while helping get movement again with my neck. I really felt I may have to have surgery but have gotten great relief with the therapy.

I love the place the staff is very nice and you no have to wait to much for the teraph. Always the lady's on the front desk the will very nice and always you receive a smile.

This is by far the best PT I have gone to. The integrity, professionalism, customer service, and care and concern they have for each patient is something we should all look for when we are hurting, recovering and Hohman Rehab offers all the above. I love going there, it is a wonderful place and I have fun even though they make me work:) I highly recommend them. You go in as a patient and leave as a friend. Sheri Wade
