First Class operation. My children have had an absolute wonderful experience at Collina Kids. Staff is well trained and extremely caring! Love the place

This is the worst acadamy ever! I will never recommened this school to anyone. They are very unproffesional and need to watch what they do and what they say. The staff is horrible maybe 2 or 3 are okay, but the rest need to be checked. I look at the review and I can't agree enough with the one star people.

In 2007 I arrived at Collina Kids Academy to pick up my children up.. Only to walk into a circus... Katheryn the owner (who is very unprofessional) Was in her in office talking VERY loudly to another employee... You had employees goofing off in the front office. I noticed that the lunch lady was wearing no gloves but serving food.... ISNT THIS A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION?? I picked up my two year son only to notice that the teachers were sitting in chairs talking to eachother while the children were playing by themselves... THERE WAS NO INTERACTION WHICH SO EVER!!!!!! I also notcied that my child's snacks and sippy cup was where the changing station is... GROSS!!!!! IS THIS TOO NOT A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION???? I picked up my 4 year old and I noticed that the teacher was having a problem with one of her students... I proceed to get my child's belongings when she hung up the phone real upset.. She proceed to discuss with her asst. about the situation... The teacher called the front desk asking for help with this child and Sarah, the director... Told the employee to take care of it herself. THERE WAS NO TEAMWORK!! I dont know about you... the way I see it.. The DIRECTOR should always be the one willing to help ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES OUT!!!!!! I have seen it over and over again where THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF DOES NOT help their teachers!! They are very good at LOOKS and pursuing people to believe that this is a well established center... DONT BE FOOLED BY LOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What happens behide closes doors.. DOES CONCERN ME!!!! Kathern also owns another center KIDS R KIDS ( with her husband) they were/ are going through problems with money and staff.... If you cant run one center right what makes you think you can run two??? This school is a joke!! My husband and I pulled both of our children out and I will NEVER RECOMMENED IT TO ANYONE!!! Please Please... Look at other options... I have no clue how the pulled it off to recieve the Apple... but I will say they SHOULD OF NEVER OF RECIEVED IT!!!!!! I have also seen an employee in the threes.... Bring a child into the restroom and proceeded to tell him to NOT take off his shoes.... AS SHE WAS STEPPING ON HIS FEET!!! Come on really??? Is this how their teachers communicate with their students????

This is coming from one VERY concerned parent!!!

I absolutely cannot recommend this place. Staff is extremely difficult to work with and many times simply rude when asked routine questions.

I LOVE Collina Kids!! Everyone there is helpful and friendly and my daughter loves attending. Thank you Collina Kids Academy for all you do for me and my daughter!!!

I signed my son up about 3 months ago at Collina and he loves it. His teacher is amazing!! She is friendly, helpful, fun and loving. All of the staff and management crew have been wonderful. Everyone there shows love to my son!!

I have been very impressed with this child care facility. I feel the staff is very loving and knowledgable, and the front desk staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. My daughter loves coming to school each morning and never wants to leave when I pick her up in the afternoons. I cannot say enough good things about Collina Kids Academy!!!!

My opinion: I absolutely would not recommend to anyone. Found the looks to be very deceiving. Extremely high turn over of staff. Most of any real value in my opinion don't stay around very long, and the others look very, very unhappy. Owner, managers are miserable, unprofessional and seem to enjoy mistreating the staff, which explains the extremely high turn over. Those "in charge" are basically the same way. A teacher's assistant is very rude, openly disrespectful and very sarcastic with the children, but it's my understanding she is related to someone "in charge", and therefore, her behavior continues. The playground area is nice and large, but alot of those "supervising" the children seem to spend more time chatting with each other than they do supervising. There are a few excellent teachers that I am confident won't be there very long. This daycare needs a complete overhaul, starting with the owners.

My child was there well over a year. Teachers come and go too fast. Continuity and consistency in quality of care was just not there. Communication from parent teacher was very one-sided. We had to ask multiple times trying to get daily daily, which was not readily provided.

The owner was, as others have mentioned, the least personable person you'll encounter there.

Building and playground were the only outstanding features.

I totally DISAGREE with the two negative reveiws. This center is so loving to there students. The staff Is so caring about each of there students needs.My daughters vpk teachers taught her soooo much. How to read count by 2's. 5's. And 10's to 100. She was four just to inform you. They also taught them how to write leyters and they turn them into sentences. I couldnt have been more pleased with our expierence at Collina Kids Acadmey.

In reading the two previous negative reviews I would have to strongly agree the Staff, especially the Owner Kathryn is extremely rude, and unprofessional. I would not recommend enrolling your child in this Daycare. During lunch I have often witnessed teachers serving food without gloves and directly from a can without even heating the food up. As far as looks they can and usually are very decieving DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!

This center is top of the line. The teachers are excellent and the adminitration is outstanding. I would reccomend this center to anyone moving into this area.

This Learning Center is the worst center in Clermont! It may be new, but it is overcrowed with children, and the staff is not trained. The owners and the directors are not following state laws or health laws. Please reconsider before you put your children at this facility, you will regret it!
