We ordered laminate for our family room, living and dining room after shopping around for weeks at a few local companies. I'm not embarrassed to mention that we carried around a ledger to take notes on each product, and prices from different floor stores, in order to keep track. (These days, as we all know... salespeople may be out to take advantage of customers to stay afloat). The Carpet Barn & More in Clearwater was 1) most knowledgeable, 2) most honest regarding warranty details and underlayment, 3) measured our rooms at the lowest number (tells you something), 4) had lots of choices, and 5) explained the entire process from start to finish! Other stores didn't even show us the underlayment pad! After returning a few samples that we checked-out, we decided to go with the hand-scraped look. The store phoned us to let us know it was in stock. Then the installer called us to deliver and they did a moisture check on our concrete floors, while reminding us that the laminate needed to acclimate in our house. The installers did an exceptional job to say the least. I have already recommended them to two friends.

We shopped around for days, until we stopped into the family run business of Carpet Barn & More in Clearwater. I met with the owner & salesperson, and they asked lots of questions to narrow down our needs. Rather than talking us into the most expensive carpet, they realized that we rarely used the living room, so we decided on a mid-quality floor. They promised us that the installer was great, and sure enough he exceeded our expectations... very respectable to say the least! I would recommend them to anyone, and I'm sure I will! Their testimonials on their website says it all!
