Paul Gramer of Gramer Funeral home in Clawson made my family's experience of planning the arrangements and the services go as smooth as possible under our circumstances. We saw Paul 16 hours after my father's sudden and unexpected passing. He treated us like family throughout the entire process and gave us all the respect in the world. Monica made our obituary, prayer cards, video board and was there for us every step of the way.

The funeral home has a section that's from the original farm that's almost 200 years old. There was room for 15 picture boards, a TV for the video board (and later a DVD), plenty of comfortable space and a room for food and drinks for the family.

I cannot emphasize enough how important everyone's kind, gentle, respectful, funny, helpful and family like demeanor means to my family.

We held a service for my mother in April, 2014. From the moment we contacted Brooke and began the process, until the time we closed our service, the entire staff at Gramer's was incredible! I can't speak highly enough about the service, the professionalism, and the compassion that I could sense from the entire team. Brooke was absolutely amazing and wonderfully compassionate. Howard was wonderful in helping us navigate through a couple of issues, timing, and Howard was simply great. The staff servicing during the evening of the service were also very special, equally amazing, and incredibly attentive. On behalf of my entire family and from the bottom of our hearts, we highly recommend Gramer's Funeral Home.

What can I say about a place who gave me what I needed before I even knew I needed it? Let's try. When dealing with the pain of losing a loved one and the emotional upheaval that comes with it, Gramer Funeral Home made it easy and an almost pleasant experience. From the moment we walked in the place, Howard, Paul and Darnell were there to offer assistance, advice and the comfort we needed to go through this process. Even before we arrived Darnell offered support and comfort and did everything we needed in a timely and orderly fashion. If there was a training seminar on how to treat a family at the time of a loss of a loved one, Gramer Funeral Home should do the training. A thousand thanks for taking such good care of my mom.

Paul Gramer and the entire staff at Gramer Funeral Home in Clawson were so caring, sensitive, attentive and overall excellent in every aspect of my Mother's funeral. I was pleased at their attention to detail and everything that I requested was taken care of exactly the way I wanted things done. This was important for me and my family as we wanted to be sure that my Mother's funeral was done just the way she would have wanted it and that was accomplished. They are extremely loving, helpful and oranized with getting all of the details done for the family - which helps to take some of the load off off of your shoulders. I would not go anywhere else and would use them again when the occasion should arise.
